Happy Holidays

 

Wonder

She believes in everything—the reindeer's flight,

the magic dust that makes the sleigh rise gold.

Her eyes are bright as ornaments, holding light

the way a snow globe holds its perfect world.

She counts the days on fingers still so small,

leaves carrots out with solemn ceremony,

listens for the jingle bells and footfall,

knows the night itself conspires in her story.

This is the last year wonder wears no questions—

pure faith, untouched, a season's sweetest blessing.

I created this artwork with a tutorial found HERE.  The tutorial is originally written by Nines Designs (I was unable to find a working website).
